The NC Human Services Document Repository was created through a collaborative effort between the UNC School of Government and the NC Consolidated Human Services Alliance. The Repository is a website where directors or staff members from human services agencies in North Carolina can upload documents in order to share them with counterparts around the state. For example, a CHSA director or DSS director may want to hear from colleagues about ideas for organizational charts or examples of job descriptions. The director could use this Repository to see what forms or models other agencies around the state have created. If questions still remain or certain categories of documents are missing, the director can send a note out to the listserv asking others to post a particular resource on the site.

When uploading a document, please add “tags” that will allow other users to easily search for and find content regarding particular topics.

The UNC School of Government does not review the content on this site for quality, identify “models,” or otherwise endorse any forms or documents posted to the site. When a user uploads material, it will be immediately visible to anyone who accesses the site. It will not be approved by a moderator of any kind before being posted. The School of Government periodically checks the site to make sure it is not being misused and to determine whether organizational changes are necessary, but does not otherwise moderate or review content posted to the site. Accordingly, users should exercise discretion in deciding which forms and documents to post to the Repository. if a user becomes aware that a document is outdated and needs to be replaced, the user can upload a new version and/or contact the School of Government to delete the outdated version.

Please do not post any information that would be deemed confidential under state or federal law. If you view a document that appears to contain confidential information, please notify the School of Government so that the document can be deleted.
